Erin Ashley Eggers (she/they) is an integrative bodyworker based out of the San Francisco Bay Area (Coastside) and Taos, NM. Using a variety of therapeutic massage modalities, yoga, sound, and other somatic techniques, she supports her clients’ healing journeys to relieve chronic tension patterns, reduce stress, resolve trauma, and embody their entire radiant beings.
BODYWORK
I am licensed/certified in massage therapy by the State of New Mexico (LMT #9084) and California (CMT #80807). My initial massage therapy education was through the University of New Mexico’s structural integration program (1,000 hours). My ongoing continuing education often includes myofascial techniques (SI), Thai massage, and trauma-sensitive modalities. I received a Certificate in Holistic Health through the University of New Mexico in 2017.
YOGA
I first discovered yoga as a teenager and quickly became aware of the significant impacts it had on my mental, emotional, and physical health. In my personal practice, I blend naturally flowing movement, introspective stillness, and meditative sound. In 2012, I completed my first yoga teacher training (vinyasa) through Frog Lotus Yoga International. In 2017, I completed another yoga teacher training (yoga therapy) through the University of New Mexico. I am also certified in trauma-sensitive yoga (TCTSY) through the Trauma Center at Justice Research Institute. I have studied with the Prison Yoga Project, which brings trauma-informed yoga to prisoners and other underserved and at-risk populations, as well as Prajna Yoga in Santa Fe, NM.
MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS
I work as the Managing Director of Sage Institute, which promotes meditation and mindfulness practices and trains meditation leaders through our 200-Hour Meditation Leader Training Program. Visit www.sagetaos.com to check out our meditation courses and virtual events or to find more information.
